Liquidation of Giorgi Gabunia was ordered by Ramzan Kadyrov

Published:

The liquidation of Giorgi Gabunia was plotted on the  order of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov - Nika Gvaramia, General Director of the Mtavari Channel, made a statement at a special briefing.

Gvaramia spoke about the details of the special operation in Tbilisi. According to Gvaramia, Giorgi Gabunia has been under surveillance for several months.

The Counter-Terrorism Service arrested an ethnic-Ingush citizen of Russia, Vasambeg Bokov born in Ingushetia on December 21, 1982. The official reason for his arrest is not what I am going to talk about now. As far as I am aware, he was arrested on other charges, but the main thing reported by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to the Georgian authorities is that this person was planning to liquidate Giorgi Gabunia on the order of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, - Gvaramia said.

Director General of the Mtavari Channel urges Georgian and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to make public as much information as possible about the planned liquidation of George Gabunia. According to Nika Gvaramia, any damage inflicted to any of the employees of the Main Channel will be the responsibility of the Georgian government.

Nika Gvaramia says that "Mtavari Channel" has been aware of the surveillance over Giorgi Gabunia for several weeks. This fact is related to the activities of Giorgi Gabunia:

We know from our sources in the Counter-Terrorism Service that this is directly related to the monologue of  Giorgi Gabunia on Rustavi 2 against Russian President Vladimir Putin. The man who ordered the murder is Kadyrov, - stated Gvaramia.

The Director General of the Mtavari Channel claims  that a specially organized group was operating in Tbilisi. In particular, several people were surveying the movement of Giorgi Gabunia and after that a contract killer, who had already been hired, should have been involved in the case.

Recall that on Friday a high-profile special operation was carried out on Kavtaradze Street in Tbilisi. The State Security Service detained a man under the age of 40 from a rented apartment in the Dream Town residential complex.

The man known as Ahmed turned out to be a Russian citizen, Vasambek Bokov, who arrived in Tbilisi on a special assignment.
