The opposition accuses the Central Election Commission of facilitating election fraud. In protest against this and in order to meet with the chairperson of the Commission, Tamar Zhvania, the opposition is holding a rally in front of the Central Election Commission. They request access to all necessary election documents.
The election commission has turned into the election headquarters of the Dream and is helping the ruling party to falsify the October elections. At the same time, voters are being lied to and told that those leaving the booth can demonstrate their political choice to anyone. We will not allow any pressure on citizens. We demand to meet with Zhvania," says Levan Bejashvili, member of the National Movement.
Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Tamar Zhvania refused to meet with the protesters. Members of the opposition together with NGOs are signing the Code of Ethics.
