Statement from "Mtavari Channel"

We respond to the disinformation spread by the government's propaganda media, which falsely claims there is illegal circulation of funds at "Mtavari Channel."

First and foremost, we affirm that "Mtavari Channel" has never engaged in any illegal transactions.

Unfortunately, the fabricated accusations made by Gogi Kurdadze, the director appointed by Zaza Okuashvili, one of the channel's founders, serve one purpose only: to artificially create problems for the country's most influential critical channel and, ultimately, to halt its broadcasting just days before the elections—actions that align with the interests of the Russian "Dream" regime.

The false accusations presented in Gogi Kurdadze’s letter are so absurd that they do not warrant further attention from the channel or our viewers.

After years of struggle, "Georgian Dream" will not achieve its goal and will not be able to stop us, even with the assistance of a representative of one of "Mtavari Channel's" founders. Our team will continue to fight relentlessly for Georgia's European future and, together with the Georgian people, we will achieve final victory.
