Court of Appeals dismisses the lawyers' lawsuit in Nika Melia's case

The Court of Appeals dismissed the lawsuit filed by the lawyers in the case of Chairman of the United National Movement Nika Melia. It had 72 hours to say whether it would accept the lawsuit in the proceedings.

Before the court's decision, the lawyers stated that the case was political in nature and the court  would not rely on legal arguments.

The case was sent to Giorgi Goginashvili, a judge of the Court of Appeals, notorious for his "political justice."
