Georgia's third president Mikheil Saakashvili responds to the reference to him in the Council of Europe resolution and writes that referring to him as Putin's personal prisoner is an accurate description of the situation.
Mikheil Saakashvili writes that it damages Georgia's international reputation.
"Including me as Putin's personal prisoner in the historic Council of Europe resolution is an accurate description of the situation, but I can't say I'm satisfied. It damages Georgia's international reputation, and I think this is a complicated situation, Georgia's threats are more internally antagonistic, and on the contrary, it needs consolidation and the search for a common language," Mikheil Saakashvili writes.
