"As sad and difficult as it is to say, aside from Russia, which has imposed sanctions against Georgian citizens, and there is Ukraine, which is at war with it. I do not think that the will of the Ukrainian people is expressed by imposing sanctions against their friends without arguments, evidence or any facts. We have repeatedly demanded one fact. The trouble is that our Georgian colleagues sitting in this hall have appealed to this, that Georgia is a black hole and it used to bypass sanctions. They could present no evidence, because they cannot find something that does not exist. On the contrary, there are still documents that Georgia supports Ukraine, including in The Hague. Despite this, some people are being sanctioned to somehow get close to Bidzina Ivanishvili in order to return him to politics, blackmail him and then drag this country into war.
