"We saw that these sanctions, which were imposed on Bidzina Ivanishvili and members of his family by the Ukrainian authorities, belong to the Security Council as a decision. And the head of the Security Council is the person who called our people, Georgia, our motherland to go to war and didn't care, what influence this will have on our generations and on the occupied country, which was taken before Ukraine, back in the 90s. So this decision of course is not surprising. I personally do not think that the decision can have any concrete influence on the persons under sanctions, but it is very sad, to say the least, that the country that says that it remains a friendly state, takes such hostile decisions and maybe it should be taken as a decision that comes out from the security council as another attempt to drag Georgia into military conflict.
This was stated by Minister of Culture Tea Tsulukiani, as reported by the Public Broadcaster.
