What is happening now in court is the restoration of justice - Zarkua on Nika Gvaramia's case

"We have a state where the media is supported and free from tyranny. You remember what was happening in this regard before 2012. There was a raid on TV station Imedi and journalists were getting hurt and some were killed - this is the thing of the past. If we are on the current rating Georgia is ahead in terms of media freedom and I think that this trial which is now in the court is about restoring justice, if we commit crime and it is proven to us our status is not important whether I am a parliamentarian or a journalist.
