Bidzina Ivanishvili's brother and dual citizens - BPN on companies that export alcoholic beverages to Russia

This year, the export of spirits and alcoholic beverages from Georgia to Russia increased by 65%. In particular, in January-September 2022, 40.6 million US dollars worth of alcohol and spirit drinks were exported from Georgia, while in the same period last year, 24.6 million US dollars were exported, BPN reports.

The publication names 5 companies with the largest number of products in Russia:

JSC Kotekhi-Gurjaani Winery - the joint-stock company is managed by the Supervisory Board, where the chairman is Davit Dugladze, the brother of the "Georgian Dream" MP, and the deputy chairman is Alexander Ivanishvili, the brother of Bidzina Ivanishvili. Zaal Dugladze's wife, Ekaterine Dugladze, is a member of the Supervisory Board.
Bolero & Company LLC - 100% of shares are owned by Vakhtang Karichashvili, a dual citizen of Georgia and Russia.
GVMT Group Ltd. - in this case, Vakhtang Karichashvili fully owns the share of the company.
Gocha Chkhaidze owns 55% of the shares of Askaneli Brothers LLC, and the limited liability company Askaneli Winery & Distiller owns 45%, which is also owned by Gocha Chkhaidze.
LLC Kakhuri Traditional Winery - 100% of the company is owned by Zurab Chkhaidze.
