The Russian occupiers are currently building a new checkpoint in the village of Atotsi - the leader of the anti-occupation movement, Davit Atsarava, is spreading information and video footage.

 Recently, the statement was released by SSG. Liluashvili's office says that they have activated the hotline. In SSG they say that illegal activities were carried out in the occupied region.

 "Representatives of the Russian occupation regime erected an illegal installation near the village of Atotsi of the Kareli municipality, in the occupied territory.

The hotline was immediately activated and the information was reported to the EU monitoring mission, the co-chairs of the international discussions in Geneva were also informed.

Illegal activities carried out along the occupation line, including illegal installations erected within the framework of bordering complicate the daily life of the local population and damage the security environment in the region. The occupying power is fully responsible for this.

 The issue of the so-called border installations will be strongly discussed at the next meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), as well as at the next round of international discussions in Geneva," the SSG statement said.
