The Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, talked about the two-digit economic growth of the country with the European Commissioner in Georgia, Olivér Várhelyi. The Prime Minister thanked the European Union and noted that the alliance actively helps the country in the development of the economy.
"Our country's economy has recovered very quickly after the pandemic. We took quite correct, reasonable and effective steps last year. Last year we had a double-digit economic growth, Mr. Commissioner. This year, despite these challenges and a difficult situation, we have a double-digit economic growth in 9 months, 100 000 new jobs were created in just 9 months. You will see for yourself that we are making progress in all directions," said Gharibashvili.
