No one wants the death not only of the third president, but also of any prisoner - Kaladze

The capital's mayor Kakha Kaladze says that whether the president will pardon Mikheil Saakashvili or not, this decision depends on Salome Zurabishvili.

As Kaladze noted while talking to journalists, "no one wants the death of not only the third president, but also any prisoner".

"It's up to the president, the president has to make a decision, but I repeat again, to a person who has been blamed and has committed a crime in relation to specific cases, my position is that everyone should answer. We have a very big responsibility and when you're in politics, you're a politician. And even more so the first person of the country, you have a very big responsibility. No one wants the death of not only the third president, but also of any prisoner. Health safety, as in the case of Mikheil Saakashvili, is very important in the case of all prisoners," said Kakha Kaladze.
