Whoever attacks the elected government cannot be a friend of the Georgian people - Papuashvili on Kramer

Kramer's statement is a direct attack on the government elected by the Georgian people, whoever attacks the elected government cannot be a friend of the Georgian people," MP Shalva Papuashvili said.

Papuashvili said the radical part of the opposition inside and outside the country is holding Georgia's European future "hostage."

"This is a direct attack on the government elected by the Georgian people. Whoever attacks the government elected by the people cannot be a friend of the Georgian people, this is an axiom. So we have to look at the whole situation this way. If you look at it, it is interesting how the term "oligarchy" emerged in Georgia, how it developed, what interests were behind it to make this or that person a cliché. All of this was ultimately aimed at attacking the Georgian government. This is a common policy, even now we see that the radical part of the opposition and their supporters inside and outside the country hold the European future of Georgia hostage and try to bargain for the weakening of the Georgian government. In order to somehow bypass democracy and replace the government elected by the people in a worse environment, the desire to weaken the government elected by the Georgian people and take over the government, which the people have already rejected 9 times because of the authoritarian regime they had in their time" - says Papuashvili
