We are not asking for a pardon for Salome Zurabishvili

The lawyers of Georgia's third president Mikheil Saakashvili plan to provide the president with full information and conclusions about his health condition. Lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze says they are not going to ask for a pardon from Salome Zurabishvili.

"We are not asking for a pardon from Salome Zurabishvili, we are just informing her about his health condition and will put it in the course of the case. At least at this stage we have such a position and we will see what the court will do next," Shalva Khachapuridze said.

In his own assessment, Samkharauli's expert opinion will be quite noisy, to which Salome Zurabishvili should have a corresponding response.

"It will be quite a noisy conclusion, quite a noisy process, and we will see if Salome Zurabishvili has a corresponding response. The fact is that it became clear yesterday that her position has changed to some extent," Saakashvili's lawyer said.

Salome Zurabishvili has not yet commented on this.
