It is very likely that Mikhril Saakashvili was poisoned - this was the conclusion reached by the "Empathy" center after several days of research and discussion. The statement was made by Mariam Jishkariani, who said that the third president does have heavy metals in his body, which is most likely the result of neurointoxication.

The head of the Empathy Center says a group of 10 experts came to this conclusion after lengthy consultations.

Jishkariani appeals to the president and urges her to pardon Mikheil Saakashvili immediately, as the patient must be urgently transferred to a University Hospital in Germany.

"It is very likely, and we are still waiting for further evidence, that Mikheil Saakashvili is a victim of poisoning. He was subjected to torture, inhuman treatment and there is a possibility of attempted death, and I call on Salome Zurabishvili to take action. save a human life and pardon Mikheil Saakashvili today... Three heavy metals - mercury, bismuth and barium - were found in the hair rod," Dzhishkaryan said.

According to lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze, Mikheil Saakashvili could have been poisoned in prison when he first lost consciousness. Khachapuridze said if it is confirmed that he was poisoned, the family and lawyers will have to seek a response from the diplomatic corps:

"I confirm that Saakashvili's condition is indeed grave. Especially in recent days it has worsened. If it is established that we are dealing with a poisoning and his life is in such danger that it can be a matter of seconds and minutes, the public will gather. Perhaps we will appeal to the international community, the diplomatic corps and then the situation will be put in a completely different mode. He had his first episode of loss of consciousness in Rustavi prison, and this is where the American toxicologist begins his research," Khachapuridze says.
