Expert Commission Concludes That Mikheil Saakashvili's Presence in Georgia's Penitentiary System Is Impossible - Jishkariani

Mariam Jishkariani, head of the Empathy Center, today released part of the examination conducted for the third president, which mostly consisted of recommendations. Jishkariani said that 10 Georgian and 6 international experts worked on the conclusion.

The experts say Mikheil Saakashvili's stay in the Georgian penitentiary system is impossible:

"The expert commission unanimously came to the conclusion that Mikheil Saakashvili's stay in Georgia's penitentiary system is impossible. Based on his state of health, as well as security norms, he should be immediately transferred to a third-level university clinic in the U.S. or the European Union to make an accurate diagnosis and subsequently determine the treatment and rehabilitation," Mariam Jishkariani said.
