Judge Giorgi Arevadze will consider the case of the postponement or release of the third president of Georgia. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison in a clemency case.
In addition, Arevadze presided over the Khazaradze-Japaridze-Tsereteli case.
"The case was referred to judge Giorgi Arevadze. You know this judge. As for the terms, it will take from 3-4 days to 15 days. Materials are requested from the Department of Corrections, we will request some materials from the chancellery as well.
The Code prescribes that the case must be reviewed by a person that issued the verdict, so it turns out that Giorgi Arevadze is staying, according to this principle," Shalva Khachapuridze said.
