As for Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition, Giorgi Grigolia says that it has deteriorated sharply. The Ombudsmen Council visited Saakashvili on December 4. According to Grigolia, if the condition worsened in the hospital, it is likely that the treatment was unsuccessful.

"We are interested in the opinion of the attending physician during these 6 months, isn't everything written in history? We saw him at the end of April until Easter, then we didn't visit him again because we thought he was in the hospital and we thought he would be more or less protected from complications.

Compared to that, there is weight loss, he is cachexic, the neurology is weakened, there is a sharp decline in these 6 months. If the condition worsened during the stay in the hospital, we should think that the treatment was probably unsuccessful," Giorgi Grigolia said.
