Our fellow citizens are taken to Ukraine by the representatives of the war party - Gharibashvili

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili criticized the previous government at today's government meeting. He again said that the third president was "on the ground" during the 2008 war, while the defense minister fled the battlefield.

According to Gharibashvili, the "War Party" is trying to mislead the public with "sensitive issues". According to him, it is the opposition that leads the citizens of Georgia to the war in Ukraine.

"Looking at the uproar over the last few days, on the most sensitive issue, a man died, he died in a war, and some hypocrite, I should call it that, fake politicians trying to get some political dividends, is there anything more immoral than this. I want to remind everyone that these people , this so-called war party and the party of traitors can be said directly and why I will explain it well, from the day the war started in Ukraine, they tried and are trying to organize certain provocations, they are organized even now, unfortunately, these are our fellow citizens who are brought by the representatives of the war party to Ukraine, many of their provocations have been avoided by our government," Gharibashvili said.
