Mikheil Saakashvili's court - according to the lawyers, the judge is asking the penitentiary for case materials, but the penitentiary is not in a hurry

The judge in the case of Mikheil Saakashvili officially requested the penitentiary service to send the case materials of the third president, although the agency has not yet responded to his request.

According to the lawyers, the penitentiary is obliged to send the documents upon the judge's request. They do not rule out that the Penitentiary Service waits for the conclusion of the Samkharauli Bureau before handing over the case materials.

"As we currently know, from the judge's assistant, the judge applied to the penitentiary service to transfer Mikheil Saakashvili's personal file. We do not rule out the possibility that the penitentiary service is waiting for the conclusion of the Samkharauli Bureau. Upon request, the penitentiary service is obliged to hand over the personal file to the judge," said the lawyer.
