The meeting announced at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs failed for unknown reasons. The press service of the Embassy of Ukraine confirms the information to the "Mtavari Channel". The agency says that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not explained why the meeting was cancelled.

The cancellation of the meeting between the diplomats is probably related to the statements made today by the temporary representative of Ukrainian affairs, Andrey Kasyanov. He said that he would personally raise the issue of the third president at the meeting scheduled for today. According to Kasyanov, Ukraine will protect the rights and interests of all citizens, including Mikheil Saakashvili.

Recently, the third president was visited by his mother, Giuli Alasania, and lawyers. According to them, Mikheil Saakashvili has difficulty moving and eating.
