No "sleeping Tskhinvali"! No "we couldn't avoid provocation"!...greetings to Heidi Tagliavini - Nika Gvaramia on the decision of the Hague Court

Nika Gvaramia responds to the decision of the Hague Court and considers it a historic victory.

"No "sleeping Tskhinvali"! No "we couldn't avoid provocation"! In 2008, Russia started an unjustified and unprovoked war against Georgia, while Georgia was in the mode of a moderate defensive response!
The decision of the Hague Criminal Court is a historical victory for Georgia, as well as a great step forward for the civilized world in the direction of understanding Russia and evaluating its objectives! I congratulate this decision to all Georgian soldiers, from the private to the commander-in-chief! Also, I congratulate all Georgian lawyers who worked on this case under any government!
greetings to Heidi Tagliavini
Does she have anything to say, by any chance?
P.S. As for the second court in The Hague - the UN International Court of Justice. I heard misinformation from the government that "the previous government was defeated in this case". It is a lie and dangerous. Here's the thing: The case before this court is even more important than the one above and concerns the recognition of ethnic cleansing and the attribution of responsibility to Russia. In this case (significantly due to the geopolitical context at that time, which has changed diametrically due to Ukraine), the court returned the case to Georgia and named the exhaustion of the formalities stipulated by the Convention on the "Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination" as a condition for re-applying to the court. This means holding negotiations with Russia in order to eliminate the consequences of ethnic cleansing. It is a vain formality, but mandatory. If the negotiation does not take place or is unsuccessful, this is also considered to be the end of the formality. What did the current government of Georgia do? The case disappeared altogether and today no one knows what the government is doing in this direction.
I am addressing the Ministers of Justice and Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Publicize the current status of the case and explain why the claim has not been resubmitted to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Considering today's context, we all (including the government) know for sure that Georgia will defeat Russia in The Hague and we will receive the heaviest and heaviest legal, political and historical document in the history of our country and the Russian Federation, which will determine the occupied territories of Georgia - Abkhazia and Ossetia from 1991 to 2008 Ethnic cleansing carried out in years. We all know that this result will happen, but it seems that not all of us want it," writes Nika Gvaramia.
