The penitentiary service requested an examination for Mikheil Saakashvili "to determine the simulation", but the judge did not satisfy this request.
According to the representative of the penitentiary, Nika Abramishvili, the examination should have been conducted on the footage taken in Viva Med, which was distributed by the penitentiary service.
According to Abramishvili, after the distribution of the footage - "a number of questions arose, whether there are signs of simulation in the actions of the convicted Mikheil Saakashvili"
"The above-mentioned clearly represents an examination according to the procedure established by the legislation. Accordingly, we consider it correct that all three institutions, including the National Bureau of Levan Samkharauli, conduct an examination of the medical examination at the court. The following question must be answered: is the convict Mikheil Saakashvili suffering from a serious illness," said Abramishvili.
