Mikheil Saakashvili's process is scheduled in the city court today - the session will probably be postponed

Today, December 26, in the Tbilisi City Court, another trial of the third president of Georgia is scheduled for the so called jacket case. Lawyers say the hearing is likely to be postponed again.

The defense side says that the case is politically motivated.

"This process is likely to be postponed again, due to the state of health of the president. In the ongoing cases of Mikheil Saakashvili, it doesn't matter what we call these cases or the defense side or the Georgian authorities, because it has actually become a matter of life and death for Mikheil Saakashvili," says the lawyer, Shota Tutberidze.
