Russian human rights activist Mark Feygin and Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the Ukrainian presidential administration, call on the world to support Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia's third president.
They initiate a global action on January 4, 2023 and call on citizens living in different countries to come to the embassies of Georgia in their countries before 12 p.m. local time. Feygin and Arestovich spoke about this on the Feygin-Live program.
"We have been discussing the issue of Mikheil Saakashvili for several days. There was no response to President Zelensky's appeal. We hoped for Zurabishvili's reaction. Therefore, together with Arestovich, we consider it right to support him. We shall hold a global action - save Misha - on January 4 we will call on all our viewers, before Christmas in Georgia, to go out to the main capitals of the world, to all the embassies and consulates of Georgia, let us come with posters and demand to pressure the Georgian government diplomatic mission and give Saakashvili an adequate treatment, given his serious condition. I already receive letters from around the world and this is a huge number of people", - said Feygin.
