The session of the city council, where the mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, will present the annual report and approve the budget for 2023, started with unrest.
At the beginning of Kaladze's speech, civil activists were not allowed to unfurl a banner with the inscription: "Corruption kills".
We remind you that civil activists and members of youth organizations of various opposition parties met in the territory of Kaladze Sakrebulo. They wanted to remind the mayor of the capital of the things that are his responsibility. The gathered had banners with inscriptions: "A city full of hunger"; "City full of injustice"; "Trafficked City"; "A city full of corruption".
According to the information of "Mtavari Channel", the mayor did not enter the city council through the central entrance and he avoided the participants of the protest.
