The work on the Georgian version of the "Magnitsky list" has begun - The Lawyer of Mikheil Saakashvili is meeting with Andrey Kasyanov at the Ukrainian Embassy

Right now, Mikheil Saakashvili is meeting with the chargés d'affaires of Ukraine, Andrei Kasyanov. Shalva Khachapuridze has already started working on the Georgian version of the Magnitsky sanctions. The main topic of the meeting at the Embassy of Ukraine is the sanctioning of those persons who are accused of violating the rights of the third president and worsening his health.

The topic of conversation is the health condition of the imprisoned president.

Khachapuridze does not rule out that, if the embassy wishes, the Ukrainian embassy will be involved in the legal proceedings of Mikheil Saakashvili as a friend of the court.

"This list will not have a political component, politicians will not be on this list because this is a precedent decision at the time. There were no politicians on that list, and we are not going to include politicians either. We are talking about officials, including high officials, and the main principle is that that no one will be included without proof.
