The Polish Sejm adopted a resolution about Mikheil Saakashvili.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland appeals to the authorities of Georgia to be guided by the universal principles of humanitarianism, according to which human life and health are the highest value, and calls for immediate treatment of Mikheil Saakashvili.
The Sejm takes into account the recommendations of internationally recognized doctors and appeals to the international community and friends of Georgia to force the Georgian authorities to act to save the life and health of Mikheil Saakashvili.
The draft resolution was submitted by the Presidium of the Sejm.
Today, Małgorzata Gosiewska issued a statement regarding Mikheil Saakashvili. The vice-speaker of the Polish Sejm met with the candidate for the chairmanship of the UNM, Nona Mamulashvili. She writes: "I believe that we will finally be able to win this battle against the current government of Georgia and transfer M. Saakashvili abroad for treatment. A great friend of Poland and Poles simply deserves it!".
