"People's Power" publishes a statement regarding the third president and claims that Mikheil Saakashvili is blackmailing Western politicians - "handlers" - with critical topics. According to the MPs, the third president is threatening them that he will make public "evidence" about the 2008 war, as well as about his return to Georgia.
According to them, if Saakashvili cannot be released, plan "B" remains - "getting rid of Saakashvili as a golden witness".
See the statement in full:
Mikheil Saakashvili's handlers have increasingly talked about the fact that the possible death of Saakashvili in prison can determine the future of Georgia. Michael McFaull spoke about this topic publicly. As far as we know, Saakashvili's patrons have arranged the same message in the meetings with the government leaders, which are held behind closed doors.
The mentioned message confirms the information that Saakashvili blackmails his patrons with specific topics. Saakashvili threatens the patrons that he will not only tell everything about the 2008 war, but also make public the relevant evidence. The same applies to the special operation to bring Saakashvili to Georgia to organize the revolution, about which he also threatens the owners with evidence.
In such conditions, naturally, the owners will do everything to release Saakashvili and will continue blackmailing the government. However, if they fail to achieve their goal, plan B remains logical: get rid of Saakashvili as the golden witness.
In case of Saakashvili's liquidation, the handlers will kill two birds with one stone: first, they will get rid of the golden witness, who has zero political value in prison; And secondly and most importantly, they will blame the government for Saakashvili's death, and on this pretext, they will try to organize mass riots in the country, the ultimate goal of which will be a violent change of government and the opening of a second front in Georgia.
Therefore, we call on the authorities to exercise maximum caution so that Saakashvili's patrons are not given the opportunity to implement any of their plans.
