Yesterday in Kvareli, near the Euro-Atlantic Center, where the American corner operates, Levan Berdzenishvili was not allowed to hold a lecture. The members and supporters of pro-Russian "Alt Info" gathered at the place said that they were the grandsons of Ereke II and that Berdzenishvili "couldn't set foot" there.

The topic of the lecture was "Ilia and Activism", school students were supposed to attend it. The leaders of the organization had to call the police, and finally the lecture was cancelled.

Levan Bedzenishvili says that the government is behind the pre-organized meeting.

"I was called by their representative and said that they were the journalist of "Alt Info" and that they interfered with the lecture. There were about 30 people, there were 3 policemen who could not control these 30 people, this is natural, all the entrances were blocked and I could not physically get there with these children.

This kind of thing is organized by the government. Should the government be worried that a citizen is not allowed to hold a lecture, the court has not determined that I should not hold a lecture, there is no crime, I am not charged, no such thing has been established, that's why the state should be worried, but isnt, they are happy that they disrupted the lecture," said Berdzenishvili.
