The monitoring mission of the European Union in Georgia confirmed the information to "Radio Liberty" that on January 13, Russian occupiers opened fire on members of the mission in the village of Mejvriskhevi.
As EUMM representatives explained, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
"They acted according to the security protocol and left the conflict zone," says the EUMM.
According to the information of "Radio Liberty", the incident will be discussed today, January 17, at the current meeting within the framework of the incident prevention and response mechanism.
