Chairman of "Georgian Dream", Irakli Kobakhidze, responds to the CNN journalist and publishes a detailed statement that Georgia does not export sanctioned products to Russia. In the same statement, Kobakhidze criticizes the "radical opposition", the media and the president.

A CNN journalist asked the President of the European Commission about circumvention of sanctions and said that there are reports of importing sanctioned products to Russia through Georgia.

"When influential foreign media spread lies of this scale directed against the Georgian state, this is a separate problem. However, it is a bigger problem when the same lies are circulated by the Georgian radical opposition and its media outlets. This fact confirms once again that for these people, the national interests of Georgia mean nothing, and in fact, they are not at the service of Georgia, but at the service of a force hostile to it. Also, it is a pity when the president was persuaded to circulate this lie, who demanded a "categorical and fact-based answer" to the accusations. - said Kobakhidze.
