Several witnesses in Mikheil Saakashvili's case may be removed from the list of persons to questioned

Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer, Shalva Khachapuridze, does not rule out that 5 or 7 people will be removed from the list of those to be questioned at the next hearing in the case of sentence postponement or release from punishment. According to Khachapuridze, 16 experts remained to be questioned in the case.

According to Khachapuridze, the reason is Mikheil Saakashvili's deteriorating health condition. The defense wants the process to end on time.

As a result of their interrogation, it was determined that Saakashvili is seriously ill, a serious diagnosis was made, cachexia, dementia and various diagnoses, including the need for surgery on the spine and bone-joint systems. Out of 16 people We may remove 5 or 7 people from the list of persons to be questioned. The reason is for two things: first, Saakashvili's health condition cannot take it anymore.
