The chairman of "Georgian Dream" Kobakhidze is satisfied with the current processes in the UNM and says that all this will eventually weaken this party and "radicalism will decrease" in Georgian politics.
"Very good processes will take place within the "National Movement" and the final result of these processes will definitely be the further weakening of the "National Movement", which is necessary in order to reduce the degree of radicalism in Georgian politics and strengthen Georgian democracy. Therefore, I will say once again that all cases will end with good results. This process of division, which is going on in the national movement, will end with a good result for our country and Georgian democracy," Kobakhidze said.
Regarding the donated car, according to Kobakhidze, it is illegal financing of the party, which is punishable by Georgian legislation.
"As for the issue of the car, it is a scandalous topic in itself due to the fact that once again the circulation of black money in Georgian politics was revealed. This is illegal financing, which the State Audit Service should probably be interested in. When an oligarch gives a car to the chairman of the party, it is, of course, illegal. Party financing, which is punished quite strictly according to our legislation. Let's see what position the audit service will take in this regard," Kobakhidze says.
