The father of the third president, Nikoloz Saakashvili, arrived at the Tbilisi City Court, where Mikheil Saakashvili's trial will begin shortly.

Nikoloz Saakashvili is waiting for the court's decision and does not rule out that in case the court does not meet the request of the defense side, protests will start.

"I am watching today's court and the decision will be made finally, only and only after today's court. I still hope that from my speech yesterday, as well as from Misha's supporters, from Georgia's supporters, there will be some influence and today Arevadze will make a more or less normal decision. If it won't be decided today, it may be too late tomorrow. I think so, and they should think about themselves, they will have nowhere to run, and the wrath of a lot of people will be upon them," says Nikoloz Saakashvili.

According to Nikoloz Saakashvili, Mikheil Saakashvili cannot be treated in Georgia, therefore it is necessary to transfer him abroad.

"In my opinion, I am a doctor and from the point of view of my position, it is completely impossible to carry out such a process as detox in Georgia. First of all, detoxification should take place, because he is poisoned. Georgia does not have the means for this, so he must be transfered on time. It would be very good for him to be left at home, to alleviate psychological moments, but the root cause will not be eradicated," Nikoloz Saakashvili said.

Today, the city court is discussing the case of postponement of the sentence of Mikheil Saakashvili or exemption from the sentence.
