This victory belongs to Mikheil Saakashvili, Nika Gvaramia, all political prisoners, Georgian people - Levan Khabeishvili

The new chairman of the National Movement, Levan Khabeishvili, thanked supporters. According to him, this victory belongs to Mikheil Saakashvili, who is now fighting for his life, and the first decisions in the party will be related to the fight for the freedom of the third president.

"With these elections, the National Movement proved that it cannot be defeated, it cannot be removed from the battlefield. The National Movement proved with these elections that it's not an ordinary party, but the great unity of our tireless people, who want victory for our country. We proved to everyone, enemies and allies alike, everyone inside and outside the country, that we are faithful to the values that were at the beginning of the National Movement, faithful to the values that created the Rose Revolution. Democracy is not just a word to us, the National Movement is the only party in Georgia which is proving to be democratic, loyal to western values and this election is a clear and direct demonstration of that. Of course we are not going to celebrate, today starts the process which will lead our country to peace," said Levan Khabeishvili.

According to Levan Khabeishvili, he is ready to cooperate with everyone. According to his own assertion, this victory belongs to the political prisoners, the Georgian people and the brotherly Ukrainians:

"Misha, I want to promise you that we will not stop until your life and health and the freedom of our country are secured. This victory belongs to Nika Gvaramia, who has proved by personal example that we will not be broken in this struggle. This victory belongs to all political prisoners who are serving their political prison sentences under the Russian oligarchic regime. This victory belongs to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Ukraine is in our hearts and we will do our best to make our voice heard from Lviv to Kharkiv and from Kyiv to Odessa, that we stand firm on their side, that Georgian people stand beside our Ukrainians friends. This victory also belongs to Nika and his supporters, Nona and her supporters, Giorgi and his tireless comrades. Today I extend my hand of friendship to you, my main task is to unite in the fight against the common enemy," said Levan Khabeishvili.
