According to Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer, Shalva Khachapuridze, the third president received an offer from the doctors of the clinic to transfer him to resuscitation, to which he agreed.

According to Khachapuridze, Mikheil Saakashvili will probably be taken to intensive care today.

"I saw Saakashvili, the transfusion was being done, the nurse came in, then I asked Mr. Mikheil what was going on, and he told me that he should be transferred, and he gave his consent and he is waiting for them to question and transfer him. He knows that today [he will be transferred]. The clinic itself treats him well, they treat him carefully, with kindness - this is what he told me. As he told me, [the cause was] the body mass index. I have never seen him so weak, Mr. Ilia [Lomia, lawyer] and I were together, and he helped me to go to the other room," - said Shalva Khachapuridze after leaving Viva Med.
