Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer demands the questioning of the Minister of Justice during the trial. According to Shalva Khachapuridze, he will put the relevant motion on tomorrow's process. As the lawyer says, Minister Bregadze makes statements in his briefings that raise questions and it is necessary to answer these questions:

Yesterday he made strange statements, as if lawyers were forcing him, there is a limit to all this. Where does this person get this information... He claims that Saakashvili is not eating, not that he can't eat, that means he has some information, he should come and report to the court. He's an ordinary witness - says Khachapuridze, who left the Viva Med clinic a little while ago and went through relevant legal consultations with the third president regarding tomorrow's trial.

According to the lawyer, he does not expect that the judge will grant this motion, although he will still raise it. In addition, according to Khachapuridze, the defense side will release all questioned witnesses and they will interrogate only the head of the medical department of the penitentiary, Malkhaz Urtkhmelidze, who is attending the trials of Mikheil Saakashvili as a party, and they will demand the questioning of the Minister of Justice.

The next trial on the petition for the postponement of the third president's sentence or his release is scheduled for tomorrow, February 3, at 11 o'clock.
