"If they do not give us the status, they can keep it for themselves" - Kaladze to Europe

Published:

According to Kakha Kaladze, the Georgian government will "play by Georgian rules" on the road to European integration. He said this while commenting on the statement made by Andrius Kubilius. Kaladze calls the MEP's statement blackmail:

This is the part of the game and blackmail that we have been seeing all this time, and the public is seeing it too. The Georgian government will play by Georgian rules, act in the interests of the country and in the national interests of our people. Our government has done and is doing everything possible on this difficult path. But if there is a political decision on their side not to give us the status, so what,  if they do not give us the status, they can  keep it for themselves, Kaladze said.

According to him, the Georgian government is unacceptable to so-called friends because it did not get involved in the war.

I have already said many times and I will repeat that this is a staged performance by "delivering " Mikheil Saakashvili to Georgia. This was done in order to cause a confrontation, a coup. The government of Georgia is not acceptable for the so-called friends because it does not get involved in the war, it does everything, which concerns our country and the interests of our people, says Mayor Kaladze.
