President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said at a special briefing dedicated to the anniversary of war in Ukraine that Europe has stood united in support of Ukraine and has shown an unprecedented example of consolidation, against which the Georgian government has isolated itself.
According to Zurabishvili, the Georgian Dream has been incomprehensible to everyone, pretending to be detached from the democratic community with a neutral or balanced position.
"In this situation I cannot but express my sadness that the Georgian government has isolated itself. It has distanced itself from the democratic community and is trying to justify a seemingly neutral or balanced position which is incomprehensible to everyone. It knows what violating the sovereignty by the enemy and the sword raised against independence means. It understands better than anyone the bitterness of occupation," Zurabishvili said.
