On the anniversary of the war in Ukraine, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili reiterates that many injustices have happened this year, there was an attempt to open a second front in Georgia. According to him, provocations and war have been avoided due to a sensible national policy of the government.
Mr. Garibashvili made these comments about the war in Ukraine from Turkey, where he is on an official visit. Before that he had not shown any solidarity even on the social media to commemorate the anniversary of the war. In addition, the Georgian Dream refused to go to Kiev.
"Fortunately, thank God, we are the power that has avoided a second front and provocations. If this destructive opposition had been in power, today Georgia, like Ukraine, would have turned a large part of its territory into a firing range. So let's all be calm, we will look at the matter and take care of our country" - said Garibashvili.
