It is about the request to investigate the August 2008 war. Nika Gvaramia writes that the official statement of the Georgian state that Georgia started the war and the West was involved is worse than any law, even the Russian one.

"I wrote yesterday that rewriting history is a necessary part of the Russian playbook. Such changes are being made through changes to school curricula and textbooks. But it looks like the Dream is starting with a much bigger and more serious betrayal: they are going to set up a parliamentary commission to investigate the 2008 war. Apart from blaming the previous government, they're going to "find" that the West contributed to unleashing the war. Well, why is Condoleezza Rice defending Saakashvili, the Americans want to withdraw their agent from Georgia, so he won't say anything, they have already said it and will certainly elaborate in this direction.

They will also say that the ruling of the Hague Criminal Court that Georgia did not start the war was issued for this very purpose and was deliberately made during Saakashvili's imprisonment. This court is not reliable either, they will say. Besides, today's 'bad' will overshadow tomorrow's 'worse'. And, of course, the official declaration by the Georgian state that Georgia has started a war in which the West is also involved is worse than any law, even as disastrous as the Russian law on agents.
