Known for its anti-Western statements, "People's Power", which was the initiator of the "Russian Law", issued a statement and asserted that they, together with "Georgian Dream", showed their strength through compromise, while the organizers of the rally revealed "weakness due to their desire for the revolution that was not possible".

According to "People Power", this whole "exalted campaign" served only the interests of other countries, which lead them back to the path of war. According to them, the West in the Georgian political spectrum should distance itself from destructive opposition and violence:

"Lies imported from outside the country" had the effect of a Molotov cocktail among young people.

What is more betrayal and enmity when you use the emotions of your own youth against their own future. Moreover, you will sacrifice their lives for the interests of another country. The lie turned out to have "very short legs" and today many have already realized that the draft law, which they are objecting to without any reason, has turned out to be acceptable to Canada and the European Union as well. Not to mention America and Britain.

In reality, this whole exalted campaign was only serving the interests of other countries, leading them back to the war path. As soon as the protesting young people caused a turbulence in the country, the issue of the second front in Georgia was immediately renewed from Ukraine. We should all remember that the war in Ukraine is not over yet and it is not far from us.

Nor should we forget that today there is no greater concern than the peaceful restoration of territorial integrity. However, the new war puts us in front of a new occupation, where we will not have a helper and a savior again. When we want to be a stable member of the West, the West in the Georgian political spectrum must distance itself from destructive opposition and violence, and not the other way around. As for that difficult day, "People's Power" together with "Georgian Dream" showed their strength with a compromise, while the organizers of the Rustaveli demonstration weakness with the failed desire of for the long-awaited revolution - which left the country's sovereignty "on one foot". "It is very easy to push and run away. Let's think, maybe this is their goal?", the statement reads.
