Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, made the first comment on sanctioning of judges by the US and expressed full support to the judges. According to him, any interference in the work of the court is unacceptable. Garibashvili stated:

"we will do our best to protect the independence of the court, the freedom of the court from any interference, any pressure, this is our declared policy". "My main message was and is the following, as the head of the government and the representative of the ruling team, the party, I give full support to all the judges. During our rule, the court became independent, free from any interference, both internal interference and interference from other countries. Of course, any interference or any influence on the judges is unacceptable, this is absolutely unacceptable for me, for all of us, especially for the sovereign court and judges of a sovereign country," said Garibashvili.

According to him, today the court is free and independent and many reforms have been carried out for this.
