"I want to ask what Georgia is to those who gave Mikheil Saakashvili an award for protecting human rights and building democracy in Norway, when this person trampled all the rights of every person for years. I want to ask people in Poland what Georgia is to them, who award Saakashvili for fighting against Russia, when this person handed over everything that was strategic for Georgia to Russia, handed over new territories to the occupier, and against the background of all this, Georgia signed the launching of war with Russia. Do these people have any value at all? What is for them the dignity of our people, the rights and the demand to restore justice, they have crossed the line with these quasi-awards for all the people who suffered from the Saakashvili regime. If you are familiar with the history of Georgia over the last hundred years, you will probably agree that Saakashvili's repressions are comparable to the Soviet repressions of the year 1937".
"Georgian Dream" MP Nino Tsilosani read this statement at the plenary session of the Parliament.
