Kakhi Kaladze, the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, reiterates that Georgia has deserved the status of a candidate country. According to him, the European Council did not give us this status because the Georgian government did not join the sanctions, did not start a war and did not open a second front. According to Kaladze, we are ahead of Ukraine and Moldova in all parameters.

"The country deserved to receive the status until now, when this decision was made in relation to Ukraine and Moldova, of course, the first one who deserved this status was our country, Georgia. We can compare all parameters, now don't think that I blame for something the country that is at war. God saveme, on the contrary, I will always be happy for the success of Ukraine and Ukrainians, but if we look at the numbers and parameters, Georgia was the first to take concrete steps in terms of implementing reforms, fighting corruption, we are advanced in all parameters, although this was a political decision and the public understood very well why they made this decision, because the government of Georgia is a problem for them, because it does not join the sanctions, does not start a war, does not open a second front in Georgia, and they used this and wanted to use all of this as some kind of leverage," says Kaladze.

According to him, in the 12-point plan neither the general director of "Mtavari Channel" Gvaramia nor "criminal Saakashvili" is mentioned. Kaladze says that this plan will be executed meticulously.

"It doesn't depend on us what decision will be made, however, if they give it to us, we will be happy, it will be very good, if they don't give it to us, that's not a problem either," says Kaladze.
