According to Mamuka Mdinaradze, one of the leaders of the ruling party, if someone thinks that talking about national values is anti-Western and is Russian, then "Georgian Dream" should talk about revising its relations with such people.
This is how he responded to the statement of the Party of European Socialists on the discussion of the suspension of the status for the "Dream". The Party of European Socialists condemned the Prime Minister's participation in the conservative political conference.
"Prime Minister Gharibashvili spoke about traditional and national values and the vision of the future, taking into account all of this and the synthesis of progress and respect for the past, traditional values, national values, and if all this is beyond values and if this is the right assessment, let the Georgian society discuss and think about it. When these people, that are called members of our political family, and some of them, I cannot blame all of them, come out in the name of the party, our partner party, and demand the release of the criminal and the punishment of the person who is informally sanctioned , just because he did not betray his homeland, let's talk a lot about values here. If someone thinks that talking about national values is beyond values is Russian, is anti-Western, we should talk about the revision of relations with such people more than they will talk about it here. I think that if this is their clear line, if they see Russian and anti-Western values in traditional, national values, then we have a little to talk about that more serious than they speak to us," said Mdinaradze.
According to him, they had complaints against their partner party, but they did not talk about it publicly, because according to Mdinaradze, they are careful about all relations.
