Civic Platform 20/20 is founded to monitor elections

On August 1, the 20/20 civic platform was established to monitor the upcoming elections. The platform brings together NGOs, academicians and active members of the civil society.
“We will monitor the elections at all three stages, it will be an election campaign, the day of voting and the subsequent period. Most of our observers will be volunteers, young people, people who are interested in the country's future," programme director Lasha Parulava said.
Tengiz Tevzadze, Director General of 20/20, noted that restrictions due to the pandemic and inability of international partners to actively arrive can lead to a shortage of observers, so the platform members will monitor all stages of the elections.
