Not going to be MP and I'm not going to hold a position in the government

"I decided to inform you that I will not be a member of parliament and I will not hold any position in the next government" - former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili is spreading a statement in the social network. Merabishvili writes that the renewed United National Movement is the only force capable of playing a decisive role in this struggle, completing the elections with victory and returning the future to the people.

"I will participate in the fight against the Ivanishvili regime, but it will not be a fight for personal benefit but for the future of my people," the statement reads.

Vano Merabishvili also writes about the opposition and says that today, unfortunately, political bargaining is more often heard from the opposition who speaks about redistribution of places and seats rather than offering an alternative to the society.
