Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili states that direct flights to Russia and visa-free travel will not hinder the country's European integration. According to him, "Georgian Dream" is taking all the right steps for this.

"[The threat] will not be posed to anything, I will tell you that we are doing everything right, we are taking all the steps right, we explain to our European friends, I personally had a conversation and I explained to them our argumentation, our motivation. We are not a member country of the European Union, friends, and to obey the policies of the EU member states and the European Union, we must be a member state of the European Union, today we are not a member state of the European Union, for now, it will take years," Gharibashvili said.

According to him, if someone has done something in the last 10 years and in the last 30 years to become members of the European Union, it was the "Georgian Dream"
